I will try to track the progress weekly. Our plan was released for construction on 23 May 2017. That makes this the third week of construction.

The slab was planned this week but it has been raining. Waffle pod and other materials have been delivered. Waiting for the weather to be kind!

Rain has stopped and site has been ready for concrete.

I went to the site yesterday and I was so happy to see lots of action.

Piering has been done and drain pipes have been laid.

We visited the site with kids over the weekend.  

Nothing much happened in last week.  

Our site supervisor has advised us that slab will be poured till the end of next week. We can not wait to see some action now ..

We decided to knock down and rebuild as we love the area and neighbourhood.

Its has been a long journey from signing the contract till work started on our site. We moved to an apartment till we can move to our dream home.

Selections

After signing contract, next step was to get ready for our selections. We visited following display options in order to prepare ourselves for the HOG days:

• PGH Bricks at Schofields
• Di Lorenzo Tiles at Castle Hill
• Home Option Gallery, Bella Vista

It was an exhausting but fun process to pick each and every selections and colours of the house. Collect as much information as you can for your appointments for a smooth experience.

I visited a lot of display houses to decide about the colour pallet for my house. I started from floor tiles selection. Carpet was out of option for us as floor covering. I want minimilistic industrial look for my home so we selected light grey porcelain tiles and Taubman Gemini Silver paint on walls.
